We are pleased to announce the following audition information:

Auditions - Adults 16 and over (will consider younger if realistically looks like an adult)
Thursday, May 28, 2009 - 7-10 pm
Friday, May 29, 2009 - 7 -10 pm

Auditions - Children's chorus 1st grade to age 15
Sunday, May 31, 2009 - 1-4 pm

Callbacks - Adults only
Sunday, May 31, 2009 - 6-10 pm

No appointments are necessary and it is only necessary for adults to come to one of the initial two audition days. Auditionees should arrive no later than 9 p.m. (3:30 p.m. for children) and be prepared to dance (you will learn combo). Please prepare 16 - 32 bars of a song (not required to be from the show) demonstrating your vocal ability and bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Picture and resume requested but not mandatory. Please be prepared to tell a 1 -2 minute story or monologue that showcases your personality, story-telling ability, and sense of humor and fun

We will be casting people of all ages so adults, teens, and children are all welcome to audition. All roles are available including Narrator, Joseph, 11 brothers, as well as wives for each brother, Pharaoh, Jacob, Potiphar, and Mrs. Potiphar in addition to other featured ensemble roles, dancers, and a children's chorus.

Performances will be held at Cutting Hall Theater, 150 E. Wood St., Palatine, IL 60067

Joseph UK will be directed by Bridget Sundin with vocal music direction by Tom Vendafreddo and choreography by Annie Jo Fischer (recipient of the 2009 AACT Region 3 Festival for Best Choreography). And we are very proud of her
