AUDITIONS arghhhhhh

hi guys.
DILEMA.
i've got an audition for AMDA next saturday
and a recall for the arden aswell next saturday, and theres not really any way of doing both, i don't know what i feel about arden cause i didn't get a good enough look so i think the recall will help me decide but i love the look of amda.
ive emailed both places and amda said i could send a dvd audition, but apart from that there isnt another way
and arden said there is only one more auditon day on 27th june.

i live in uk, so like will i have just as equal chance for amda as americans?
help me guys
i don't know what to do
blue wind

well if it's possible to audition for AMDA in june, then do that and audition for arden on saturday.

Just keep in mind that you won't be able to get any funding for AMDA (that means you will be paying like $30,000 a year PLUS living costs) and will have to leave the US right after finishing AMDA and losing your student visa. And you will not have automatic Equity status upon return to the UK.

Hi! It's exciting to hear about your auditions.
I live in the US, and was just recently accepted to AMDA...
I'll be attending in October.

I visited there several times, and I can tell you that not only will you have an equal chance, you might even have an advantage over Americans, because AMDA loves taking in foreign students. The day I auditioned (at the school) I met a girl from Sweden and another from Cambodia (I believe). They're big on diversity.

With that being said, I would either send AMDA a DVD,
or reschedule your Arden date.

Personally, I would probably reschedule,
so I could audition in person.

I hope it all works out for you!

I had exactly the same problem. I was meant to be at my Arden recall next saturday, but I have my first round GSA audition that day, which can't be rearranaged, therefore I have had no alternative but to change my Arden audition to the 27th June, which I am really pissed off about as it is far from ideal, but there was nothing else I could do except from skipping my GSA audition, which I didn't want to do because that would be my first choice. But I did really like it at the Arden, and obviously since that is a recall and the other is a first round I feel I have more of a chance there, and that my leaving my audition until June I am risking that. So frustrating - I was gutted when I got my recall letter and it was for the same day as GSA!
