Auditioning Soon; Need to Pick a Song

My girlfriend swears by this site, so I thought it worth a try to get opinions on good options for audition songs.

A nearby community theatre is having auditions for Fiddler on the Roof, and I think it would be fun to do a show again. I'm most likely interested in (and have some shot at) Perchik. Naturally, I'd love to do Tevye (or Lazar Wolf), but there are likely to be older and better-qualified people for those.

Some background on me:
  • Age: 27
  • Height: 5' 8"
  • Vocal Range: E2 - E4 *
* This is my reliably strong range, although I can go down to C2 if mic'd and up to G4 if warmed up. Falsetto probably gets me to around... E5? I've been classified as both a bass and a baritone - I just can't do upper tenor notes.

Shows I've done (several years back):
  • The Fantasticks: Henry
  • Bus Stop: Virgil
  • Big River: Chorus
  • (some miscellaneous no-name shows in high school that aren't even worth mentioning)

I've seen a smattering of other shows, such as Guys and Dolls, Les Misérables, and South Pacific. Can't remember others at present.

Any suggestions on good audition songs for this show? I've been suggested "This Nearly was Mine" from South Pacific (which I don't remember, even after listening to it on YouTube...) and "Lonely Town" from On the Town.

If you're auditioning for Perchik, and the director wants something Fiddler, "Now I Have Everything" would be the natural choice. For non-Fiddler, try "Standing On The Corner", from The Most Happy Fella; see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKK4N14zNOA
