Hello! I'm new to this forum. And I am having a dilemma. My college is doing Peter Pan the musical, the Mary Martin version, and all the audition requires is two classical style musical theatre songs. One uptempo the other a ballad. I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I am a character tenor. My range doesn't go very low, like a low C would be pushing it, but I can get a high C. If anyone has any good character songs out there that would showcase both range and comedy or any variation of that, I would very much appreciate it!

"Sadder but wiser girl" from Music Man might work. I don't think that Smee actually has any solo singing, so it will probably come down to your reading not your singing.

Yeah, he never sings through the show. But they don't allow monologues so I gotta find something fun! Thanks for the tip I'll look the song up ASAP.

You might also look at Fagin's songs from Oliver! like You've Got To Pick a Pocket or Two or Reviewing the Situation.
