I'm a 13 year-old boy (changed voice) and I'm auditioning for a community children's theatre production of JUST SO. The age range will be 8 - 19, so most of the leads will be between 13 and 19 years of age.

I think that I would like to be the Kangaroo, if that helps you at all.

What should I sing, and what should I do for my monologue? I'm thinking of doing something that shows off my range (B-flat 3 to E4), like Purpose from Avenue Q, or maybe Footloose!, but those aren't related at all to the show... It doesn't need to be related to the show, but it certainly would help.
