Auditioning for Annie Get Your Gun, Charlie Davenport

Okay, so I am auditioning for the highschool play of 'Annie Get Your Gun'. The competetion from the Seniors is going to be very serious ( I am a Junior), so I have been doing as much research as I can muster online when I came upon this site. I have all summer and then a month or so before the musical, so I have plenty of time for practice.

To cut to the chase, here is how it goes- I can write down four roles that I want on my audition sheet, and after looking at many character descriptions online and watching the movie, these are the characters I am planning on going for-

(I already have a great relationship with the theater teacher, she knows I have experiance dancing and that I am a responsible actor who gets his lines memorized on time.)

1. Charlie Davenport
2. Pawnee Bill
3. Running Deer
4. Foster Wilson

Voice: Baritone, though I am working on getting up to Tenor over the summer-
Physical: Longer hair, slight tan, typical 'teenage guy' body- i'm not very imposing, at least not enough to try out for Buffalo Bill or Chief Sitting Bull
Dancing: If i'm shown the moves a few times, I can catch on pretty fast.
Experiance: Hello Dolly (Chorus) Titanic (2nd Officer Lightoller/Hitchens- we combined the roles) Finding the Sun (Daniel)

I think i'm a good enough actor for any of the roles by far, its the singing that will get me off- I don't think I am good enough for a fully solo song yet.

My question is- if anybody has watched auditions and has some tips for me, some do-nots for these specific characters, or a good song for any if I get callbacks, please tell me! Thank you!

You dont have to worry about singing, None of those characters have solos, at ;east they didnt in the production i did. and to be honest there isnt really much dancing either. for charlie you need pretty good comic timing though for the sly comments between him and dolly.
