Hi All,

I've posted in the auditions thread, too, but am looking for hints on audition songs for the Beast. I've already thought of (what I think) are all the usual ones, and they're all overdone!! My wife suggested "Where I want to be" from CHESS, but the accompaniment is a disaster.

I really want something that has the right feel for the Beast - someone who was young and stupid, and is still paying for it; scared, alone and angsty - someone who knows that their chances are probably almost all used up, and they're fighting desperately for one last shot...

I'm the right age, look and range for the Beast and have a good amount of show experience so I know I can manage this role if I'm cast. It's a dream role for me, and I really want the best chance in auditions.

So, any suggestions would be appreciated.

The audition requirements have been updated - nothing pre-1970 will be accepted. And the song doesn't have to be from a musical
