Neville is basically a straight-across baritone role. I would suggest a basic baritone song, though I suggest you have one that has a few high notes, as he has quite a few F's and F#'s in the Quartet. I just sang "Disappear," which is a small solo he has. Granted, that was pretty much the only viable option. I don't know much about songs for theatre, so I can't name specifics, but look for higher baritone stuff.

Isn't disappear from Quartet with Neville and Archibald? Right now i'm on the fence whether to audition for Neville or Archibald. After singing archibalds songs, I feel more out of breath during the songs. But with Neville I can reach all his notes comfortably but my voice is not as low baritone wise, more like a low tenor. I love both parts so this only makes the decision harder. Anyway, more suggestions for Neville and/or Archibald would be nice. Thanks.

He has a short solo after the schoolteacher scene, as a transition. There are alot of such instances in the second act, with Wright and Shaw reprising "House on the Hill," Albert and Rose reprising "It's a Maze," Albert, Lily, and Rose reprising "A Bit of Earth," and so on. Neville's "Disappear" solo is the same idea.

I was thinking of singing "This is the moment" from Jekyll and Hyde for my upcoming audition next week (sooner than I thought).

EDIT:Go for Nevile...especially if you're having trouble sustaining Archibald's range...Archibald is either a pretty high baritone or a straight out tenor. Nevile is baritone...has a few kind of high notes...but not all that bad.
Also...in regards to disapear...there is a short solo that he has after he hits Mary that goes as follows:
"There's nothing here that I want.
How dare she make this claim.
Isn't it clear what I want?
To serve has been my aim.
Still, I have to wonder who I'd be
if it all belonged to me.
If she would disappear I'd start again,
and live like other men
I could be happy then.
If she'd disappear I could be free,
cut off from pain and loss
at last I'd be."
This was not, obviously, included in the OBCR...however it is the same melody as his part in Quartet.
