Hey, our school is holding auditions for next year's musical (Footloose) next week. And I really, really, really, want the part of Rev. Moore. Does anyone have a song they'd recommened?

I was planning to sing/play on guitar "Your Eyes" from Rent (I had won the musical solo contest at our State ITS convo, and was invited to Internationals) But my Mom says that she thinks "Your Eyes" isn't the right style of song. So I was considering perhaps doing "Barber and his Wife" from Sweeney Todd or "Lonely Room" from Oklahoma!

If anyone has any suggestions for me or if anyone wants to tell me "Go for it!" on the songs I was considering, please don't hesitate to leave me a message.
