Audition QuestionI'm auditioning for a kidstage (full version though) production of ITW in Novemeber and I was hoping you guys could help me. It's grades 8-12. I'm hoping for either Little Red. (however, I'm assuming that part will go to a younger kid - I'm 17, grade 12) or the Baker's Wife (though I also have the range for Cinderella and that would be awesome too). I'm thinking of singing "Matchmaker" from Fiddler (it's just a really good song for me) so opinions on that would be nice, but mostly I'm looking for help with a monologe. Any help would be appriciated!

I think that you could be either Cinderella or Baker's Wife, they'll probably give LRRH to a younger actress. The girl that is playing LRRH in our production is in 10th grade. Here are some songs that are good for each role:
Baker's Wife:
'Anyone Can Whistle' (I sang this and the judges were blown away!!!)
'Matchmaker' might be okay.
Cinderella:
'Home' from Beauty and the Beast (the staged version) so beautiful!!!
Little Red:
The girl that got the part in our production sang 'Send in the Clowns', another beautiful song!!!
You might also consider the Witch!!
Hope I helped a little!!!

Your height also has much to do with the eligibility of getting Little Red.
How tall are you?
