Audition Piece

Hey all, I was wondering what a good song would be for my audition for Chicago. I'm a high baritone, but can also do a high tenor. I basically have a wide range. I could pull of Billy Flynn or Amos, but leaning more towards Billy. Is there a song out there that would work for this? Thanks for your help.

Something from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels might be nice. Also "Side by Side by Side" from Company.

I think it needs to be something very smooth and full of charm - Billy needs to have that side in bucketloads, and Amos is charming in his own, understated way. For some reason when I think of Billy the good old crooners like Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly come to mind... that might just be me though!

I could see something like "Luck be a lady" working, or even something from Grease.

That would be my second choice, although I always have bad luck with that song in auditions (so I don't use it anymore). But yes, alice*74, Billy is supposed to be like a crooner.
