also - you're in luck! there's a CYT (Christian Youth Theatre) in chicago!! i participate in CYT where i live, (as you can tell by my name) and i love it. you should give it a try!

the Chicago area hotline. even tho this is an eq line, most of the theatres which put their notices on this line use 1 - 2 eq and almost entire non-eq chorus.

If its a call held in the Eq office, you won't be given an appt. But if the aud is held at the theatre you should be able to be seen.
