Help!!! I am auditioning for "Godspell" at my highschool and I have no idea what to sing! I have perused through the forum and haven't really found any suggestions that will help me. I have to have an upbeat and a ballad and I don't want to sing anything from the show.
I am a soprano. My range is about G3 to A5. I was thinking maybe something from "Pocahontas" or "Tonight" from West Side Story or "I could have danced all night" from My Fair Lady.... I don't know!
are songs from "grease" acceptable to audition with?

Remember, Godspell is (depending on the music director) at the least folky/rocky and can be rock and roll...so your uptempo song might want to show that kind of vibe.
Almost any ballad that shows a relationship would be good.
