AUDITION HELPI'm a 16 year old female alto and i am going to be auditioning for a production of godspell on march 16
I would really like the solo role in "Day by Day"
I was gonna sing "A Step too Far" from Aida, but is it too slow for this audition?? if so, what would you suggest? i need suggestions soon! please help me!

Try something that shows of
your personality cause the show is pretty much you playing yourself so maybe something upbeat in the end it's up to you.

I would pick something a bit more upbeat and, as pretty_melody suggested, something that shows off your personality. You might also try looking into something from one of Schwartz's other shows (not including Wicked). Most importantly, act out whatever you end up doing. As I'm
sure you know, "Day by Day" really only has one verse than is sung over and over again. Your director may be looking for someone that they are sure can make each verse different, though the words are the same.
