I am auditioning for maria in wss! Does anyone know a good dramatic monologue (nothing from west side story or shakespearean plays please!) that would benefit someone auditioning for this role?

I know of a semi dramatic one from a one act. It's a little strange though... so I'm not sure if it would work.

However, there's one from Brighton Beach Memoirs... I believe it's Nora's monologue, and you can always give that one a try.
