Audition AdviceI just recently found out that my high school is doing Into the Woods in a few months. I'm a senior, and extremely familiar with Sondheim's music, which is probably more than what most of the people in my school's theatre department can say. However, while I am very familiar with the show, I'm not entirely sure what part I should audition for.
I have long straight blonde hair, brown eyes, and I'm very petite (5'0) with a small figure. I'm a strong actress, and I enjoy performing comedic roles. My vocal range is pretty wide, from F3-Eb6. I'm particularly known in school for doing belt parts, as my belt voice can go pretty high, but I also have a legit soprano side to me (I've done "Glitter and Be Gay" for charity concerts and recitals). Any ideas?
