Assassins on Broadway questionFor those who have seen the Broadway version:
I know the Balladeer is also Oswald (Neil Patrick Harris). Was this a commentary somehow? I mean, did it seem like they were making a statement with this, or were they just trying to limit the number of actors, or what?
Also, I thought the Balladeer had some lines and/or singing parts in the final scene. How did they work around that?

baladeer gets sucked into the "another national anthem" pandemonium and by the end of the song is transfoprmed intp Oswald. i wasnt sure i'd like it at first until i saw it ..and it made perfect sense...having him assimilated into their mindset.

In the original version, "Another National Anthem" was like them running him off the stage, wasn't it?

yeah. that version was lame. having lee not do anything the whole show and then having balladeer forced offstage. I love the revival version.
