[Someday]

I really want to try and get Lynette from Assassins. I'm probably too young (I'll be 19 at auditions) but want to try out anyway. Since this will be my first audition at this theatre, I want to make sure I'm prepared to give it a serious try, which means having a solid song prepared.

I can hit all the notes in the duet Lynette sings. I'm a soprano or perhaps mezzo soprano but I can't go very low, but the notes she sings aren't a problem. The biggest problem with my voice is the fact I have a weak belt.

Perhaps ignore that fact and just suggest really good audition pieces for this part, because I have a long time before these auditions and I'm taking private lessons so a lot might change in the next 8-9 months. Yes, I'm starting early
