Dont worry, these threads pop up very frequently, no one seems to be able to find this mysterious 'backing track thread'. Just be glad you didnt get scared away by Katethegreat- shes really nice, but there was a very big misunderstanding between her and someone who wanted another backing track. Lets just say that it didnt end well!
I thought I had that one, but I dont. Give Actor a PM, he was generious enough to send me mine. Have a good listen to the origional, for their timing with the backing. You'll be amazed how hard it is to get the right timing sometimes when just faced with the backing. Practice with that till you can get the real backing.

Me too. I was quite supprised at that persons reactions. Normally I dont like it when people have a go at one person, I was going to tell you guys to lay off them, but then I read what they had posted, man I was amazed. Yes, its hard to fully understand the feelings intended behind posts, but they were really going overboard. You apologised (to an acceptable degree) and explained yourself, and what did you get? abuse.
Well, if theyre going to expect that thats how this forum runs, then maybe its a good thing that they decided to leave.
Dont worry about it. Theyre done and gone, and we all know how mature and kind you really are, and thats what counts.

Messageboard stuff does that... at another board, everyone took what I thought were perfectly nice corrections as insults to their status as human beings, and flipped out. So lately, I've given up on being nice about things like enthused Idina Menzel fans, and it's gotten me into trouble here. I guess sometimes, when people accuse you off stuff enough times, you start doing what they're accusing you of doing out of exasperation.

But let's not get too OT here. Everything's fine now, right?

I do agree about checking to make sure there's no threads on something, though. (Of course, that sentiment also got me into huge trouble at the other board. )

What I should have done was leave it alone in the first place. But I wasn't in the best mood I admit and it just seemed at the time that whenever I came on this board people were asking for backings, so I asked...My mood aslo meant I probably didn't give the best reply, but I pointed them down paths I use. I need backing tracks for my work and often have to search hard and pay for them (especially as my comp seems to have a grudge against me sending or receiving them ) so I told them where they could look if they had no luck here, and even someone who could help them here!
And I was in a mood, so even typed it came out bad. And I didn't like being called a lairy gobshite lol
