Are John, the Engineer, and Tam in the final scene?

Hey people! Very Happy
I just wanted to know if the above named three characters are in the final scene of Miss Saigon, because I'm currently writing a fanfiction called 'Shattered' with every character's point of view on Kim's death/the finale scene. I have never actually scene the play live, I'm just obsessed with the soundtrakc. ^_^ I've already posted the chapters of my story with Kim, Chris, and Ellen, and I didn't want to write ones for characters who didn't *have* a perspective on the scene...so, please help me out if you would? Thanx!

Musical. Cast recording.

And yes, they are. At least in the Cameron Mackintosh staging and in most of the regional productions.

It isnt a play, it's a musical.

In the versions I've seen, Tam is being held by the Engineer, but after Kim's death, he puts him down, and Ellen motions for Tam to come towards her, and she hugs him. John either stands looking shocked/upset facing the other way, but one guy I saw slumped down onto the ground, on his bottom, then put his face into his hands as though crying, then when Chris screams, he looked freaked out and put his hands over his ears then over his face again, looking crushed.

Yes, in the version I saw(the current U.S. tour) I remember something simliar; the Engineer, John, Ellen and Tam being outside the room.

Yeah, they were there. I remember when I saw it, Ellen motioned to Tam to come to her and the Engineer pulled him closer to himself instead. Makes you wonder what the Engineer's motives have now become!

Okay, when I saw it, I don't even really remember seeing John (but I'm sure he was there--- I'm just like that, though...) But I do remember seeing the Engineer and Tam, and after Kim passes, as the curtain was falling, Ellen reached out her arms towards Tam, and he ran into her arms.

Yeah, that's what I remember from the Broadway cast.

Although I think in the original London production (from what I've read), at the end of the scene Tam stays being held by the Engineer rather than Ellen, so it's not really certain whether he will make it to America.
