Are any of these good monologues?Hi everyone, auditions are coming up for Beauty and the Beast, being totally obsessed with the show, I'm hoping for Belle...
I was thinking of three monologues but I'm not really sure which I should do... the audition is in September. All of my choices now come from the book Monologues for Young Actors by Lorraine Cohen, if any of you have it
1. The beginning of Alice in Wonderland (page 6 in the book)
2. Anne Frank (talking to Peter about religion, page 10 in the book)
3. Antigone (talking about her not wanting to understand, she's persistent and sort of mocking in this one; page 24)
If you have any other ideas for monologues please do tell! I also have the book 111 One-Minute Monologues but I dont really like it. Also, if you could recommend a book that'd be great too.
