Hey,
I KNOW I want the part Anybody's in the production of WSS in my school. I have already expressed interest to the director, and he has commented saying, "Well, I can see it, but you are also a tad girly." This statement shocked me sense I do not wear heavy makeup or do not talk in a valley girl accent, and then I realized he was talking about my figure. I want to blow him out of the water and force him to choose me when it comes time for auditions. I have always recieved chorus or little solo roles/parts in his shows. I have already decided to show up to auditions w/ a backwards baseball cap on. Now all that leaves is the song. I want to chose a song that has a guy side to it or song with a lot of dialogue and chances to show of my acting. I was thinking the Alto's Lament (b/c i am an alto). If anyone has anymore suggestions to what songs to sing or anything else I can to I would appreciate it. (my range is very low alto to low sop.) I would love advice from anyone, especially anyone who has been an anybodys! (Say that 3 times fast!)
