Any loud bangs and explosions? seeing it todayI hate plays that have random loud noises like gunshots out of nowhere because it startles me...is there any of this in Saigon? It is taking place in a war so Id assume yes? but I hope not

Yes there's a few gunshots from what I remember. I remember jumping out of my seat too.

What you have to bear in mind is that apart from 2 gunshots, and several helo effects - this was during the big wind-down of the Vietnam conflict...
Now.. if you had had activity at Xuan Loc in April 1975... THEN you would have lots of pyros going off.
