Hi,
I believe my school is doing the production of Oklahoma this summer, and i don't know what part to try for! I am 13, average sized with a strong voice. Remember, this is a SCHOOL production! Thanx!

Define strong voice. Soprano ,alto, mezzo? Are you looking for something fun or the romantic lead.

According to stageagent Laurey and Ado Annie are both sopranos but Laurey goes to A5 Annie only goes to F5. Then there is Aunt Eller she is a mezzo but a much older character, I don't know the age range in your school. I played the part as a junior in high school. Then there is Gertie she isn't a solo singing part but is the flirt of the production. She goes after Curly.

Actually it is a Middle and High School proformance, so im not going to be the youngest there or anything. ALso, not many high Schoolers usually do this anyway.

Ado Annie should be listed as a mezzo, she only belts to an Eb.
