Any BARENAKED LADIES fans here?"Fans" meaning... you have listened to everything they have put out.
I'm going to see them in two weeks! I have all their records but have never been to one of their concerts. I'm excited.
So, just wondering who else is a BNL fan?
Andy.

ME!!
Hehe... my parents are big fans, and I grew up listening to them.. I can remember as early as 4 or 5 in the car listening. I just went to their concert at the patriot center a few months ago. if you're going to the same tour, the opening sequence is really funny. One of the songs of the opening act will make your ears bleed, though.. sooooo annoying
Have fun at the show! Knowing BNL, you'll be sure to have a great time!

haha....another Canadian sucker up here!
I haven't heard "everything they've put out", so I guess I'm not a "fan" by your standards (geez), but I do love the vast majority of what I have heard! Yay. I love their old school 90s stuff best.

I imagine a lot of people react like that when they hear the bands name

I've seen them in concert a few times. Best live band I've ever seen. Brilliant.

I adore the Barenaked Ladies. I've yet to see them in concerts, except for the small ones that they sometimes show on TV. They've been around ever since I can remember, and they're still putting out great music. I grew up with them! Random extra note: I love Easy.

BNL was my first concert. It was my Christmas present from my sister when I was ten.
We go everytime their out here.
We have all their cds.
Also, we made shirts....because we're Barenaked Losers.

Hey Annie...
Well, when I say "fan" I don't mean people who try to sing "One Week" and really come off looking (and sounding) foolish.
I mentioned BNL to some peoplem on the street the other day and they said they loved the band.
I asked them to name five of their songs. They said
"Million Dollars"
"One Week"
I asked them to name their favourite album that they put out. They said, "They have albums?"
I walked away, insulted.
I'm looking forward to getting the new record "Barenaked Ladies Are Men." And, yes... I'll be seeing their BLAM show in Ottawa.
(Thinking of taking my girlfriend on SHIPS AND DIP 3, as well)
Andy.

Favorite song? I love their darker stuff like The Flag and War on Drugs.

For some reason, the song "Enid" has always been one of my favorites...along with "Shoe Box"
Ah. Good times there.

I'd have to say that Shoe Box, It's all been done, and Another Postcard... and the music videos for all of them
My mom went nuts when she heard Another Postcard, as one of her majors was Anthropology, and she LOVES chimpanzees

I went to their concert the other day. But I don't really consider myself a fan; I used to listen to them when I was younger, so they're nostalgic for me, and I went to the concert to share a fun memory with my mum and sister, but I don't listen to their music very often.

You only posted this so that there was a thread with the words BARENAKED LADIES in it that didn't get a blue card, didn't you?
