Annie Pictures

Here are some pictures of me as Oliver Warbucks in Annie. Our show closed last night. Sad

"NYC" - Grace, Annie, Me as Warbucks

"Something Was Missing" - Me as Warbucks and Annie

"Something Was Missing"

"I Don't Need Anything But You" - Me (again) and Annie with a buttload of orphans.

"Tomorrow Finale" - Me, Annie, and Grace.

Those are the only decent shots of me. The others I was moving too much or making an odd face.

Annie must have eaten a hell of hut mush!! Laughing Laughing Kidding!

It looks like a very good production! Community theatre?

Shocked That's SO mean! She is my best friend under the age of 11 (she's 10), and the girl can belt insanely high. She's been studying voice since she could talk. The girl is amazing. Wish I had recorded her for y'all.

I know!! I was totally kidding, you would just expect an orphan to be stick-thin!
what_the_heck013

Yeah, that's true. Some of our orphans were stick thin.

By the way, it was youth community theatre--generally high school aged, but the ages were lowered for younger girls to play orphans. We get a lot of money because most of the members are snooty rich kids and their parents donate a bunch of money. Ironically, Annie, Grace, and I do not come from the richer families.

Your pics look great what the heck (cool name by the way!)
I was in "Annie" when I was 14 and loved it!

Did you actually shave all your hair off for the role?

No, during the first few tech rehearsals, I wore a bald cap. The bald cap would always start to fall off around Act II and it was a bitch to put on. We decided to not use the bald cap, and instead, shave my hair short and bleach it blond. This is shown in the last pic of me.

That actually worked out rather well! I'm surprised!

looks like a really great production! good job!...wow a lot better than when I played Annie as a ten year old (it was a low budget youth theatre and my first lead in a musical..and my second musical overall) but it's such a great show!...your Annie looks adorable..I bet she was awesome

I dig the more youthful looking Warbucks thing you've got going.

Thank you. Me too. I hate when they draw lame lines across your forehead with eye liner. I got a beautiful lesson on old age makeup from Laurel, which they refused to use.

I know this is somewhat off topic
But yousaid your sister played tessie, and my friend got that part in our school play. The first rehersal is monday, so we dont have our scripts yet. And she was wondering how big of a part is tessie

Her signature line is "Oh My goodness" and all she really does is repeat that throughout the show. She has one solo and a few duets. Not a huge role, but bigger than some.
