My community theater is doing "Annie get your gun and I was wondering how high the role of Annie Oakley is. Does anyone know the high note that Annie sings in the 2nd act after she says "Anything you can sing, I can sing higher"?

I couldn't tell you exactly the note.
But the role is written for a strong belt, so I know it's not, say, a high C.

If you don't have a crazy belt, audition for something else.

i have been invovled in this show and yes in that one scene Annie does go pretty high but the rest of the show she is a very strong belter

Axccording to stageagent.com she has to sing G3-F5 and they consider her a mezzo role
