Annie Get Your Gun.What is Winnie, vocally, in Annie Get Your Gun? Is she an Alto/mezzo? I'm auditioning for AGYG this fall in a community theatre and I'm just trying to remember whether I would fit all Winnie or possibly her sister, whats her name.

Dolyl Tate is the shows Press rep. she is in her mid 30s to early 40s. and sings "Col. Buffalo Bill" with Charlie. she is an Alto.

That's the version we did...sigh. My friend Liz (lizarina11) was Winnie in our show. I think she's technically considered a soprano, I don't really remember...haha, sorry. Liz is an alto but was able to pull it off 1000 percent. It wasn't like, crazy high or anything. Winnie basically has to be a great dancer, and able to do the whole "young teenager in love thing". Dolly is very funny, our Dolly kind of stole the show, actually. She is just very over the top dramatic and all that fun stuff. She is an alto, I do remember that. Best of luck to ya!

Yea Dolly thats her name! Gosh when I was in AGYG in high school I loved that part. Being that I don't really look the part for Dolly I think that I have a better chance getting Winnie, but would prefer Dolly.
