Annie Get Your Gun audition

Ok, I might be auditioning for a production of Annie Get your gun. I say might, because I only heard about the auditions today and they're next week, and supposedly applications should have been in last week. It's not a professional or particularly well-known theatre group though so I'm hoping they'll have some slots I can fill in ^^ anyway, I've never seen it but I've sung exerpts of 'No business like show business', and 'anything you can do I can do better' in a show, and I've read plot summaries - I'll be getting the video out if it's good news about being able to audition. Has anyone got any ideas for a good audition song, and also what part to go for? I'm 17, mezzo-soprano/alto and around 5'5. I don't have professional dance training though I've experience and I'm good at learning routines from being in various musicals and shows. I probably won't be getting a lead role since I don't have a lot of belt ^^ but I still want to go for it. Thanks for your help!!

depending on the production theres a few parts you could go for.

For either of them you sound like a good annie, i know you said that you dont expect a lead role but it cant hurt to try.

for the revival theres Winnie, Dollys younger sister. I dont think she's in the film though, if i remember rightly thats the original version.

Theres also dolly, but that will probably go to someone older.

As for songs, how about something from calamity jane for annie, its a similar sort of character.
