i think it is the best ending we could get ^^

let me explain myself, the first time i saw the movie, i wasn't satisfied with such an ending, but actually, how would it end any other way? Eliza came back as any woman would've done, because she simply loved Higgins. And he has a stubborn and detestable character, how could he not make some reply such as the one he did?



but if i had to please my childlike dreams, i would say, they lived together, without ever getting married or having children, Eliza would stay at home at take care of Higgins' affairs and he would go on teaching.
