[Megan the Phantom Girlie]

I've seen what happened when I posted my comparison of a photo of Sarah Brightman with a photo of Emily the Corpse Bride in the thread entitled "Is it just me? Tell me it's not just me." I would like to explain that I didn't mean it as a Brightman-bash. I'm actually a huge Sarah Brightman fan, and I proudly carry most of her albums around in my iPod. I was just amused by the similarity between her signature La Luna persona, all starry-eyed in a white dress with a sparkly wreath in her long black hair, and Emily's starry eyes, thin wedding dress, and withered wreath in her long dark hair. I think Sarah Brightman is beautiful, and I think Emily is beautiful. If Corpse Bride was onstage, I'd love to see Sarah play Emily. Just please understand that I actually meant it as a weird sort of compliment, and that I'm totally distancing myself from the muck that thread's become.

PS: I am a Snape fan who is a girl, not a Snape fangirl, so don't use that against me. I have no warm fuzzy feelings toward Alan Rickman. I've already been taunted on other sites where I use that tag and I don't need it here.

i think you are all jealous of Sarah.
she has been the BEST Christine ever... (nothing to compare to Emmy Rossum).
Sarah's voice is sweet, genuine and has got some magic charms that made me cry when i listened to the Phantom Cast recording for the first time.
let's take into account that she played the role 20 years ago and of course people grow old. that is part of nature. so please stop critizicing her. i would like to see ALL of you singing the way she does... IMPOSSIBLE!!!
