American IdolDid everyone see LaKisha perform And I Am Telling You just now?The Gospel-singing black woman in my heart loved her for choosing it, but hated her for performing it. Maybe it was all the cutting, but...I HATED IT! ...it was still really good compared to everyone else's performance. |

Yes I saw it this morning because American Idol is also broadcast in England. It was really really good but reminded me of Jennifer Hudson. Still amazing though - all those notes

I hate the way they have to cut songs on AI. They're only allowed to sing, what, 1:30? That's really crappy. So with all the cuttings, really emotional songs like that always come off a little cheesy when they're performed on the show.
