Amazing find

Sorry if this has already been noted but I just came across this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trpe4ivqPOU&mode=related&search=

It's billed as the Original Broadway Cast. It's pretty crude and definitely old, perhaps filmed off of a television. Wow, that cast looks really good. Was there some television special where they performed JSFJC? If so, maybe a better video copy can be obtained?

The top. I belive it's the same one. My sound's not working.
Pounce

Thanks, yes, the cuts in JSFJC makes sense now. It is their performance at the Tony Awards in 1983 and Buckley's performance followed it. Very Happy

What a treat. Love Marlene and whoever played Vikki and Jemi (I'm so tired my brain is fried.)

Pardon a silly question, but what does JSFJC mean?

Methinks I've gotten way too used to figuring out acronyms on a dime via the "The Lion King" fandom (sooo many long song titles when you have the Broadway production in it).

Oh man, thanks for posting those find(s), Pounce and Vice! Those were great.

There are likely a few good copies floating around at internet streaming resolution, as this taped performance is now available on at least 1 DVD compellation and can be ripped. If you're looking for something a little better than a 320x240 .swf/.flv, as good a copy as you'll find (keeping in mind it was only filmed in television quality for the 1983 Tony's, so it's still a little muddy coloured and not the super-sharpest image) is included in the first compellation of Broadway's Lost Treasures .
Nedame

that's really cool thanks for sharing : )
