I hear that theatre near me might be producing A Chorus Line..but it could ne just a rumor...but that led me to think..since the revival is going on will the rights be really difficult to obtain or expensive..does that happen when revivals come out..I know I heard about it with Chicago rights going up b/c of the movie and revival...if anyone knows any info that would be great..thanks!

i think common sense probably indicates that the rates'll go up-- as the show grows in popularity (revival or original), more theaters will want to perform it...thus they don't need to worry about keeping rights low to entice buyers because they know they'll have people willing to pay the high profit...

i mean, i have no solid, specific info on a chorus line about this...but this is basic eco 101, right?
