So...yeah. I've had them for a little over a week but was afraid to post them for my own insecure reasons. LOL. I feel like a chunker in most of them, but ANYWAY enough of this. Jazzy will get mad and accuse me of fishing for compliments. WHICH I AM NOT.

Okay. I *think* I've narrowed it down to six...and then there's a mid-shot one I think I just want to have, and MAYBE the full shot that's in there too. Just...idk for what. Anyway. They're not re-touched yet, though I did go in on Photoshop and attempt to take away SOME flyaways...though I failed, miserably. I also put all of them into B&W just to see.

So... I need to choose my main one, obv. So suggestions for that...but I also need one(s) for my Spring Awakening mail-in call-back thing. So, what one(s) [they said they want photographS] are more fitting with that whole theme, as well?

If you don't think ANY of them work...I can upload all like, 50 to an album and you can have a go at that.

I love the 1/2 body one, but much moreso in color. The full length one looks really good in both black and white and color.

Otherwise, I love 521 (both), 557 (both), 615 (bw), and 606 (bw) the MOST.

Honestly, I don't like how the arms are positioned in any of them. It's kind of distracting. I find myself looking at your arm more than your face. It's an unnatural-looking pose...

Otherwise, I do like the expression on your face in all of them...my favorite is the one that everyone adores 0615 (though I hate the arm thing, your face is engaging in that one)...I wish you had more options for your dramatic shot, but I would go with the one opheliarose likes, though I'm not a huge fan of having that much hair cover your face and of course, the arm thing...

You look great, though...seriously! I'm sure these will be just fine!

They're all very nice photos, but they don't all work for headshots. The camera loves you! and you did a nice job with your makeup. I suspect you'll find yourself with a lot more choices in subsequent rounds of headshots as you get more comfortable with the weirdness that is posing for these without posing.

I like 615 and 557 best for a musical theatre/commercial headshot. 606 is probably the best dramatic one but you may look a little too spooked.

I hate headshots. I hate taking them and I hate choosing them. GR. I hate that I look like an effing fish in most of them. WHY am I not as comfortable in front of a camera as I am on stage? Someone enlighten me, please.

Sorry. I'm just pissed that I spent so much money and really...don't have any really good shots. It sucks.

Eh what is perfect these days. One thing that is tough about headshots is you tend to notice all your imperfections over and over again. You want to look your absoulute best but Unfortanently you need to look as natural as possible. Somtimes that is the best look for some somtimes not. I personally think You have great photos. Some look unnaturally posed but the one that everybody liked with your hand behind your neck looks great. Your arm does pull a little focus but I dont think that is going to be a problem with cd's.

All in all you are very Beautiful and I think your headshots are going to work great.

I blinked in 2/3rds of mine when I originally had them done, and all but 2 or 3 looked posed. When you're on stage, you're a character with a specific physicality. When it's some random headshot man and you and your 4 changes of clothes, you will become a fidgety person who feels funny in their own body. That's just how it goes, I think. The trick is then figuring out which ones work and which don't, and then you know what works for YOU.

I wasted a bunch of money on my first ones in that many weren't useable, but I wouldn't have known how funny certain poses and faces looked until I did them and had someone take a couple hundred pictures. You can also bring this contact sheet with you next time and say "these 3 I like. These 197 I don't. Let's not do ones like that." When I had my 2nd round of pics done about 5 years ago, I brought all my old stuff and that helped a lot. So in that respect, you've saved money for next time.

I honestly think you look great in all of them, and I'm pretty picky. Don't worry about not looking good or anything like that, I think they look amazing! I especially love the first one. I'm more of a black and white person, but I like the color of your 3/4 shot a lot. With that selection, you can't really go wrong

I like 615 in color the best of all- I like your facial expression and how the green shirt picks up the green in your eyes... just lovely! You look fresh-faced and youthful and fun and polite all wrapped up in one. I'd want to work with you!
for B/w I think I like 557 the best. although I think 615 could work in b/w too, if you cropped off the right side a *bit* more. Still be off-center, but not quite so much black void.
