All For the BestA friend and I are doing All For the Best for a Broadway revue and I'm a little confused. There are two pauses one before each time they sing together. I know the one about the 'spec of duct' is there another scripted vignette? Thanks. |

Which line is the other pause before? Perhaps it's the appearing cane gag.

I thought of doing the cane bit, but I don't see how it would work. It's such a big stage, and I'm not confident in either mine or his catching ability..haha.

The appearing cane is actually a small telescoping rod you can hold in your hand until the drum beat where the cane "magically" appears. Even though the movie took this number WAY over the top, it might give you some good ideas. |

where would one acquire one of these "telescoping rods" and for how much would they be going?

You should check ebay as well. That's where we found the magic canes that we used in our production and they were cheaper than any other site we found. |
