ALICE IN WONDERLAND!Ok, so hi everyone, this has been driving me CRAZY!I know all about the disney 1951 alice in wonderland cartoon, but I SWEAR there's another one! I remember watching it tons of times when I was much younger (probably 5 or 6) and I remember that THE CHESHIRE CAT WAS ORANGE! And he had a deep, drawly voice, thats at least a guess at a memory, but I know for sure there was an orange cheshire cat. I've searched and searched all over the internet and I can't find this film! Can anyone help me out? has anyone seen this version? |

Thanks so much, teapot, and that sounds like it SHOULD be right, but thats not it either! Am I completely imagining things? Is there a bit in the disney movie where the cheshire cat is orange? |

Alice series...Was it not perhaps this version of the Alice in Wonderland story?
This series was produced by Nippon Animation in the 1980s and, as can be seen in the image above, featured an orange striped Cheshire Cat. The IMDB page for the series is here. Later days David |

which stage version is the best? i wanna get a script and i know theres a few versions out there - both musical and non - and i really wanna check one or some out.
especially because i've never seen the show live, so i always wondered what they do about things like Alice shrinking and growing - or is that sort of thing cut out of the story? |
