No! Alice is a CHILD, you would want younger songs than those.
Try:
The Girl I Mean to Be-The Secret Garden
The Lonely Goatherd-Sound of Music
My New Philosphy-YAGMCB
Little Girl songs is probably your best bet. I will admit thought, I have never heard My New Philosphy, so I would check that one to make sure it's apprioate. I think The Girl I Mean to Be is your best option. Although I'd advise you to find out what production of Alice it is, seeing that there are many different verisons of this show.
Also there are these two possibilities, but I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO DO THEM FOR THEY ARE BOTH EXTREMELY OVERDONE!
My Favorite Things-Sound of Music
Somewhere over the Rainbow

Actually, all 5 of those are quite overdone, or at least in my area.

Really? The only ones I hear are the Sound of Music ones and Somewhere over the Rainbow. Have you done YAGMCB or Secret Garden in the last few years? That might be why.

One of my theatres did them both in the 90s, but I always hear them sung at different auditions. I don't know, it might just be me...

It's not the voice part I was concerned about your songs. All of your choices are good soprano songs, but do you see 10 year old girls telling Argentina not to cry for them or them wishing to find someone to love? I was more worried about the character than the voice part ith your songs.

The Secret Garden would definately be a good show to look at, as it has the same sort of creepy child's-tale feel. If you're young and looking for head voice, I'm sure you could get away with some of Colin's parts. And definately Mary's.

I was just Alice in Alice in Wonderland, actually!
It was incredibly fun =]
I would say...
"Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping beauty,
"Soon" from Thumbelina (very good idea!!!),
"Goodnight My Someone" from The Music Man.
That's really all I can think of this minute.
"Soon" from Thumbelina would be great, I think, because it's not overdone at all! It shows a nice soprano head voice that a little girl might have, and the lyrics are very dreamy and wistful. Look it up on YouTube or iTunes, and you'll fall in love with it!
And remember, Alice is "seven and a half, exactly." <-quote from show
Break a leg!

TTL, I was also recently in Alice in Wonderland. What version were you in? There's atleast 15 different ones. And Alice I believe is actually 10 in the books and in most shows.
I've never heard of Thumbelina before....

GASP!
Thumbelina is a little-known Disney movie about a little girl born from a flower. She is the size of a faerie, and she feels like she's the only one in the world her size. Then she meets a BOY faerie, and they fall in love. La La La. It's just adorable =]
Oh, and I don't really know which "version" I was in. I just know our lines and stage directons were straight from the books. The book said she was 7 1/2.

Strange, but I have that movie, same title, same plot, and it did have a song that I think was Soon. Was it Disney? I thought it was some enchanted tales or something like that.

The Thumbelina movie you are referring to was produced by 20th Century Fox and directed by Don Bluth (who also did the Pebble and the Penguin, A Troll in Central Park, etc). He was an animator for Disney, but then started his own animation company.

I looked up the movie too. Different from my movie. So I can't say whether or not Soon would be any good.
