Hi! I am auditioning for Albert in a school production. we are low on guy talent. two others fit the role. Ne ideas as to how i can get creative at auditions. also ne tips for m yfriend who wants to go for rosie. we might audition in the closest time slots so we look like we coordinate. ne tips?

I was in byebye birdie at camp when I was 14... 8 years ago. Rosie and Albert had dated the previous summer, but were on good terms, so they "coordinated" quite well. I would say for Rosie, to be in between the 15 year old girls, and the mothers... to really stand out as not 15, and not 40. How she wants to do that is up to her.
For Albert maybe have him have two sides: the striving businessman, sort of professional... and the side that hasn't gotten rid of his mother yet. That's really his struggle, is that he's afraid to tell his mother off... when he finally does, he should have found his strength.
