Ok, so every November we have a school musical. My best friend is the directors daughter, so she told me and my other friend (lets call her Amy) what next year's musical will be. It's Aladdin Jr. and I'm really obsessive about school musicals, so I'm already preparing for my audition.People always tell me I sing well, but so does "Amy". Problem is, "Amy" and I both want to be Jasmine (luckily, my informant friend does not she wants to be Abu, who, as it turns out, is not in Aladdin Jr.). Last year, our musical was Bugsy Malone Jr., but I was a Dummy who had 3 lines, and "Amy" was a gangster who died in the first scene. We both had small parts, so now we want leads. I want this part more than ANYTHING!!!! My question is, what should I sing and/or do at my audition to get the part over my friend? ( I know it sounds mean, but we are not sore losers.)
