I'm auditioning for Joseph and the audition information said they were casting age appropriate. I'm 15; are there any 15 year old parts? Or should I just be in the chorus (you don't have to audition to be in the chorus, you only have to sign up)?

Unless you are incredibly talented, you'll probably end up in the chorus (because there are only two female roles in Joseph). However, why not go out for a part? You're a little young, but depending on what age the other auditioners are, you may just be able to pull of the part of the narrator. You're probably too young for Mrs. Potiphar, though.

I was thinking more of one of Jacob's sons' wives than narrator (I'm not quite that good) or Mrs. Potiphar.

I'm just kind of worried that I'll look ridiculous going to an audition that I definitely don't stand a chance at.

Where is this? I've never heard of any theater outside of a school or church setting where you just showed up and got cast.

The audition information says they'll have a 12 and under chorus and a 13 and over chorus including 11 featured dancers, 11 featured singers, 3 Ishmaelites and 2 guards. So from that, I'm assuming the bobshuwadas would be included in that?
