Again thank me now or later!!!

www.sweeneytoddmovie.com

has been updated

when you enter the site the audio in the corner has alot of the soundtrack. I'm listening to A Little Priest right now!!!

I love Johnny's "At all" at the end of the song!!!

I've been listening for about the last ten minutes, thanks. Suddenly I have more confidence in Helena's voice overall, but she doesn't seem to put much emotion into it (at least in that song; in 'The Worst Pies in London,' though, she sounds fantastic). By the Sea (possibly my favorite song from Sweeney Todd), sounds better than I expected. Johnny Depp sounds great, and Anthony sounds amazing. This is possibly the best Johanna I've heard as well.

But Alan Rickman....wow. That's one of the voices I was most curious about, and I'm very, very impressed. 'Pretty Women' sounds awesome with Rickman and Depp.

The orchestrations sound great as well. I am getting more and more excited for this film.

OMGoodness!!thanks so much
Patrick

HBC's Worst Pies in London is good.

Johnny is great, a little off in Epiphany.

Rickman is not impressive, ladies in their sensitivities may change my mind.

I agree. Rickman is only amazing cause it's so obviously rickman singing. So you're like Alan rickman is singing holy crap!!! but then when you think about it, it's kinda light and mellow and all in all not impressive.

Just listened to A Little Priest and I'm not impressed with Helena.

By the Sea has just started and she sounds a little better in this.

Thanks, but...

Dear Sweeney Todd Fans,

Thank you, Jekkienumber, for the news.

I don't, however, understand how I'll be able to hear the songs.

Should I just continue listening to the music (the spooky music which plays when the site is accessed) in order to hear those other songs?

Must I be "registered for updates" in order to hear the songs? Can the songs only be accessed on the My Space page?

When I access the basic site, I only see the following:

Is there any other way by which to hear the songs?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
Question

I'm REALLY starting to love Helena in this role. At first I wasn't sure about her singing, but she's really kind of growing on me.

There should be a enter site button on the home page. it takes you to a flash website with all the clips playing in the background.

I actually like Green Finch and Linnet Bird in this! (I usually HATE that song. It's too shrill.)

Re: Thanks, but...

Dear Jekkienumber,

Thanks. I don't know what was going wrong before, but the site is working perfectly now! Cool! I dunno...maybe my computer was having a brain fart, or something, because I was literally getting the OLD WINDOW before. LOL!

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Cool

I just think Helena's kind of hush voice could work for Mrs. Lovett--"Do forgive me if my head's a little vague..."

I still don't enjoy Johnny though. Confused
postmodern-mango-salsa

I'm excited.
HBC doesn't sound as terrible as I was expecting, in fact, she is only marginally not as good as Lupone.

And Rickman sounds AMAZING!!!!!!

just kinda sad that they made so many cuts! Like, in "By the Sea" they cut out my fav verse, the "Kippered Herring" one...

Her voice vaguely reminds me of Regina Spektor.
