After Death

Hey, this is just something I've been thinking about for a few days. I've been doing a lot a reseach on the paranormal (and I mean A LOT). (oh, and I'm reeeeally bored righ now) Have you ever wondered what happens to are beloved (or no so beloved) charecters AFTER they've kicked the bucket ? Well, heres what I think.

Mrs. Lovett: Well, she sure ain't going strait up thats for sure. But, hell nor purgetory(sp?) probobly aren't were she's headed. Why? Well, from what I know a lot of times when a persons death is very traggic(sp?) (say being thrown into a fernance) there soul tends to stay earth bound. So she'll end up paceing the bake house for all eternity. Her finall screms forever ecocing through the walls. Poor thing. ( just don't step out of you death zone!) (yes I've watch Beetlejuice too many times)

Sweeney: Hmmm... Well lets see. (insert music from 'Jepordy!') He's not on the road to heaven , but not entierly on the highway to hell. He may of done some very ,very bad things, but he still loved his dear Lucy and Johanna very, very much. He might get a second chance to redeam himself. Maybe the lowest level of puretory is were he's bound. (hey, I never said it was gonna be easy Wink )

Judge Turpin: Hell. Enough said.

Lucy: Her slate's pretty clean. Even through she did try to comit suicide she'll probobly end up in heaven. Smile

Beadle Bamford: Righ along side the judge. Thats all I have to say about that.

Pirelli: Oh my. You know, he was probobly a nice person at first, but well you know the rest. Well that elixer was a sin in its self. *Shudder* Lies get you now were my friend. And the way he treated Toby, that really burns my beehive. Tisk, tisk. Hell, or maybe puretory his were he's going. He maybe him and Sweeney could be puretory buddies (yes I though of that off the top of my head). Yeeeaaaaah!!!!!!! (poor Sweeney)

All thoughs innocent (or not so innocent) victims: Like I said before about the whole traggic, horrible, death thing there probobly goning to end up trapped in the bake house for all eterinty.(Maybe they could say hi to Mrs. Lovett for me) Wow, thats a lot of negitive energy. *shudder* Maybe an blessing or cleanseing by a priest could free there souls. (Wait I think we ate him, never mind.)

Well, there you have it. Strait from the horse's mouth. (well not really because Daisy nor Cody know how to use a computer) Comments, questions, criticisms. (wait, forget the latter)

p.s. even though I've used a lot of stupid puns so to speak, I am really serious about my work here. I'm thinking of being a paranormal investigater when I grow up.

Or..They just die, because there is no Heaven or Hell?
What Is This Feeling?

Well, I believe in life after death. But I wouldn't call it heaven or hell. And God (the higher being) doesn't send anyone there. I believe the wickedness of man clouds the benevolence of God; thus no one can ever understand his eternal love and his utmost compassion. Plus, you as a fellow human being have no right to justify who would be going to "hell" or not. That is ridiculous. Plus why would Turpin have a straight ride over Todd and Lovett? WTH? Sure, you can say what someone did on Earth was bad, but you cannot determine who will rot in hell. Maybe the bad people who screwed up, are given another chance and reincarnated into a new body. While others are sent to heaven.

Ya ... I made a lot of typos. But I fixed them now. Tough it up!

First off, I also am very interested and fascinated in the paranormal, and agree with you completely on Lovett.

Second, I do not believe in purgatory (Catholics irk me, another story for another time). In my view, there is either Heaven or Hell. Nothing in between. No boring waiting room like at the doctor's office.

Third, you can't judge someone to Heaven or Hell just because of their actions. You don't even know if they're sorry for what they did. Just because someone does something bad they're comdemned to Hell?

Exactly. You never will know everything about the morality of another individual. So stop handing out these one way tickets to hell, heaven, or whatever. You can believe what you want and think it in your head, but don't open your mouth and start judging on where the souls of the deceased have gone. Yeh , that bugs me. The world we live in is a very harsh one, and some people are just weaker than others. Some individuals have more misfortunes than others. So you really just don't know. I believe God is very merciful and forgiving.

Joshua: Hahaha. Ok.

Preach it, brother. Very Happy

But yeah, I agree with you, What Is This Feeling?.

"To seek revenge may lead to hell but everyone does it, if seldom, as well"

Sweeney Todd is a tragic hero. He does bad things and has a bad outcome. We, as the audience, are supposed to learn a lesson from this. Somebody wrote a good fanfic about it.
jackissensational

Guuuuuuuuuuys, they're fictional characters who slit people throats after shaving them and put their corpses into pies.
These reactions are slightly rash.
Brunnhilde

I actually do a fan comic about Sweeney's adventures in Purgatory. Alongside with Snape, Javert and Hagen. See my homepage.

I'm suprised. No one has though of reincarnation.

Or, maybe that's just me.
what_the_heck013

Sweeney Todd was reincarnated as Eponine.
Mrs. Lovett was reincarnated as Annie.
Judge Turpin was reincarnated as Ariel.
and Lucy, the Beggar woman was reincarnated as Troy Bolton.

Now, wouldn't this make a good spin off?

Why is suicide considered a sin? I don't get it.

Also, these aren't real people, they're characters and, although there was, supposedly, a real Sweeney Todd, the characters in regards to the play, are fictional. If we want to get into reincarnation and stuff, I guess you could say that the characters never really die because they continue to be replayed by different actors.

In other words the show and its characters never die as long as theatre itself doesn't.

One of the 10 commandments is do not kill (and. Of course suicide is killing oneself

Well, at least in the Catholic church self murder (suicide) is one of the greastest sins a person could comite.
ActingDude17

Suicide is still the act of taking a human life.

Sorry, sorry, sorry. For some reson I just didn't get spelling. I've always had trouble with it. It haunts me every day, because I do a lot of creative writing in my spare time. I'll try harder next time.

Monsieur D'Arque

As far as purgatory goes, I don't know. I'm more inclined to think if it's there, it's something you work through, not something you wait through. Like the "clockwork orange" theory. Anthony Burgess's book was a metaphor for his own concept of purgatory: After you die, before you can move on to heaven, hell or the next phase of existence, the karmic scales are balanced because all the things you ever did, good or bad, are now visited upon you. You become either your own tormentor or benefactor, depending on the choices you made. And you have to see it all with perfect objectivity.

Which i find ---- terrifying.

Well, that makes you look at the characters in a new light!
