AdviceI am auditioning for Damn Yankees in a few days and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on trying out for this musical. I want to do the best I can, but i have never seen this musical before, and I do not know who the characters are. I can sing soprano and alto. So if you can, please give me some advice so i can have a great audition. Thanks.
Other Musicals I have performed in include:
Annie: Star-to-be...understudy for Annie
Guys and Dolls: Sarah
Grease: Pink Lady

never go to an audition unprepared. you need to read, see and hear the show before auditions. the number one rule of auditioning is be prepared.

Well yes, i know that. Thanks though! See, at the school i go to, auditions are a little bit different. The directors choose what we will be singing, what part in the musical we will be acting out...and then if we get called back, we dance...
I just wanted to say that i did try out for the musical and got a call back!!! But i didnt get a part, but better luck next time. I did get into the ensemble, which i guess is better than nothing!
