Advice

I am auditioning for Damn Yankees in a few days and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on trying out for this musical. I want to do the best I can, but i have never seen this musical before, and I do not know who the characters are. I can sing soprano and alto. So if you can, please give me some advice so i can have a great audition. Thanks.

Other Musicals I have performed in include:
Annie: Star-to-be...understudy for Annie
Guys and Dolls: Sarah
Grease: Pink Lady

Salome

never go to an audition unprepared. you need to read, see and hear the show before auditions. the number one rule of auditioning is be prepared.

Well yes, i know that. Thanks though! See, at the school i go to, auditions are a little bit different. The directors choose what we will be singing, what part in the musical we will be acting out...and then if we get called back, we dance...

I just wanted to say that i did try out for the musical and got a call back!!! But i didnt get a part, but better luck next time. I did get into the ensemble, which i guess is better than nothing!
