Advice needed on a Gypsy monologue!Ok, well, I am auditioning to be enrolled in a perfoming arts school and we need to sing a song and recite a monologue. I was thinking about doing Louise's "Look at me now!" from Gypsy.
Do you think this is a good monologue?
I am 15 years old
and I think Louise is around 20 when she does this, am i right? Do you think that's too old?
I also need something that's not overused.

Chyea, I think it'd be a little weird to hear a 15 year old state that she's "Not staying burlesque." It's a fantastic monologue, you're just a bit too young, you know?
