Adam Pascal as Phantom?I searched for a thread but couldn't find another one?
I read in an interview with him that he would really like to be in POTO? Thoughts?
Personally, I think he could pull it off. I know I'm probably against the majority here, but I think it'd be cool.

i think it'd be cool! VERY different, but cool! but i think that especially in a show that's been running as long as phantom, getting different edges to the characters makes it more interesting. adam would totally rock as the phantom!!

I don't think his voice could handle it. It's not the right style...Let alone strong enough. It's like putting Daphne Rubin-Vega in Les Mis. She's great in her element, but put her in a classical piece and she sticks out like a sore thumb.

Yeah, I mean, she's good if she's in the right show, but put her next to some past Fantines and it's like...Whaaaaaaaaaaa!?

Well... next to Rent I guess? But correct me if I'm wrong, the only musical Daphne's done besides Rent is Rocky Horror- and Les Mis is quite a different style.

Compared to the music style of other things Adam Pascal has been in they're very different.

Egh...That doesn't bode well to me.
I mean, I loved him in RENT, but that's an entirely different genre of music. (I know that it is all musical theater, but still.) At least, it is to me.
Despite that, I'll be searching Youtube for the clips if it happens.
