Hi this is my first EVER time at posting on ANY forum so please bear with me.
I am rehearsal/performance pianist for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and I was wondering if anyone knows if a piano reduction exists for the show. Especially the dance numbers. The piano/conductor score is all I have and I am having a REALLY hard time reading it. It was hand written and has all the instrumental cues as well as dance cues, not to mention actors cues!
I would appreciate any input anyone has!!

I'm not going to be much help for you, but when I stage managed the show in 2005, I know for certain that the conductor's score was not handwritten.

However, I also recall that it had cut portions of the dance music. They knew this because we had the score from when we did it in 1995, and that one WAS handwritten and also had the missing music. Have you called MTI to inquire about a newer version of the score?

Thank you so much for the reply, Celeste. No, I haven't called MTI, but that's a good idea. I have been trying to condense it on my own(for my own sanity!)
