A Tale of Two Cities has apparently been adapted into a musical and will be opening in Florida soon and will also run in two other cities before moving to Broadway. I think it is a great idea and I can't believe it wasn't done years ago.

Dickens novels seem to be almost too long to make into musicals, but the set designs look cool. I really hope the score ends up being more like a classic 40's 50's musical rather than something more modern.

^^Les Miserables is way long than a lot of Dickens' stuff AND it was in a modern style. I would probably prefer it to be a little modern sounding.

I saw the set photos on Broadway.com a few days ago, they look beautiful! The remind me a little of Sweeny Todd- not sure why!!

Despite the amazing set models posted on the Broadway.com StageNotes Blog, it will SUCK unless it has made miles of improvements since the studio recording. It's only good when no one is singing.

he's amazing. he played Jekyll and Hyde at the music hall near me
