When I did this show in highschool my freshman year, we did the song "A mother doesn't matter anymore".....for my junior year in college I'm trying to get my director to do this show...but I feel that the song is very important.....I knwo that tamswitmark says you can add it as an additional song....but is that the only place that you can get Bye, Bye, Birdie? Or if other places offer it...do they offer that song??? Thanks!

each show has one exclusive agent. Tam Witmark handles Bye bye birdie. so just pay extra fore the song and they send you the music.

^Yeah, I love this song. I think the show really has a void in it if you opt not to do this song... C'mon, Mae totally deserves a solo! Plus, it's just a catchy tune. Haha. I hate most of the music in BBB, but I actually like this song.

I just saw a college funded community production of the show and Mae was played by a man...HE WAS GREAT!!! It was absolutely hilarious to have a man play Albert's mommy!
