A little help pleaseFor my high schools musical this year we are doing Anything Goes. I have never really tried out for more than a extra, and I was wondering if there was anything I should do to prepare before tryouts. I am 17 and 5' 6'' with a mezzo sop. voice, and it is my senior year, so I would really love to make a part.

Do you have to prepare a monologue and/or song? Or do they provide you with them (my HS does, so I was just wondering...)
If you're a secure Soprano, I'd say go for Hope. If you let me know some more about what you have to do at your actual auditions, I can try and help you out!

I think they might have us do selctions from the play. I'm just a little nervous about learning the thing your auditioning with at the auditions.
